"Poor Quality!"
Just purchased a home thru Taylor Morrison and the quality of these cabinets is poor. Dings and dents and mismatched coloring. Don't waste your money.

"Timberlake Cabinets in Ryan Homes"
I don't understand these negative reviews. It sounds like your builders have no Quality Control over what they let go into your homes. I bought a home from Ryan homes in Charlotte, NC in July 2013. The cabinets were Timberlake and we picked the "Wyoming" door style in the Portfolio Select Collection. The drawers were dovetaile and the doors and drawer fronts were solid wood, not veneer, although their veneer looks ok too. We had zero problems with them. When we had a couple of nicks and a door problem, we contacted Ryan and they sent Timberlake out to take care of it. We sold the house in Dec. 2015 to move to a warmer climate, FL.

"Poor Quality, Worst Service"
We bought a home from Pulte with upgrade cabinets thru out from Timberlake. There are problems from day one. The height of the drawers is one inch less than in the model home. Some cooking utensil does not even fit in. There are nails sticking out on the face panel. The fix is painting over the nails. Within one year, the hinges of the cabinet are falling off. One of the doors is half hanging outside of the cabinet. The wood frames where the hinges are attached are damaged. The service person came in and simply tightened the screws of the hinges saying that nothing else he can do. Without fixing the frame, I am sure the hinges will fall off soon. We do not have an option to choose the company but if you consider Timberlake, think twice.

"Worst kitchen cabinets ever"
We bought a brand new home built by Pulte in 2014. From day one, there are problems with the kitchen cabinets. Nails were sticking out from the face on the side of the tall cabinet. The drawers are so shallow that would not fit some cooking utensils. We were told that is the way it is. Within one year, the hinges of the cabinet doors are falling apart. We are using tapes to hold the door in place while waiting for repair. We paid extra money for upgrade. Unfortunately the builder picked this company, but if you have a choice, please think twice.

"Poor Installation"
Purchased my home from Dunhill homes in Ft Worth. After about a year the linen cabinet began to come away from the wall. Contacted Timberlake on several occasions. After seven months a technician came by and discovered that the cabinet was attached utilizing one stud in the far left corner causing the cabinet to tear apart. He took pictures after he returned to the office, someone called the builder and told them it was my fault that I climbed on the cabinet causing it to fail. The company wants to sell me a new cabinet to replace the old one. Bs. Poor installation should not be my responsibility, please reform from using these crooks.

"Blew me off"
Got a measure. Guy knew his stuff and was on time. Never got an estimate. Called. They said it would be sent via e-mail that afternoon. Never came. Called three days later to check status of estimate. They were at lunch. Left message with secretary. They never returned call. Thank god. I will use a professional company.

"A few clarifications from a designer"
I am a designer who has sold Timberlake for years and would like to clarify a few things. Timberlake has 3 "levels" of cabinetry to choose from - Value line, Portfolio & Portfolio Select. Many of the issues here are from the Value line which is an entry level builder's cabinet - particle board drawers with side mounted glides. The builders should have offered upgrades for folks to choose from. These only carry a 1 year warranty. Their other 2 lines offer more options and the ability to get the solid wood dovetailed drawers w/ the deluxe glides - you have to pay more for these items. These should have been shown to you either by the builder or your designer. As far as glazing goes... It is not a consistent finish - it is a random application of a highlight and will be different on every door... Again should have been thoroughly explained and shown to you by the designer. Thermofoil cabinets require a little care when it comes to heat. An exhaust should always be used when cooking. There needed to be heat shields installed on each side of the range. If you use a self cleaning oven or sanitizing mode on the dishwasher then the doors and drawers of the cabinets adjacent should be opened to dispel the heat. The designer should have explained all of this. Holes in the doors for hardware? I have never in my 30 years of doing kitchens had a manufacturer pre-drill hardware holes. That is done exclusively by the installer. While there can be issues with any kitchen project no matter what company you use, place blame where it belongs...

"Worst ever, cheap, ugly."
I bought my house in October 2014. The house was finished being built in the summer of 2014. I have white "upgraded" cabinets. Since that time, I have had my builder and the Timberlake reps out twice about the cracking, chipping, etc issues. I have been told that was "normal, that is just how it is" and that if they are replaced "it will just happen again so we won't replace them". I have been told it is so bad in fact, that they have to have a special "white cabinet warranty". What? So they make a product so cheap and the customer is just supposed to accept the fact that the cabinets will crack?

"Appearance/Quality of Timberlake New Haven in Linen"
Awful, Awful, Awful! We just built a new home and our builder used these cabinets. They looked marked/scratched in many of the corners. The paint also doesn't get into the grove of the molding and they look dirty. The builder ordered many new doors and they were mostly marked too. Timberlake sent a rep out to our house and that was even more of a joke... She told us ours looked good compared to most that she sees and there's nothing she can do! This is the most disappointing purchase of my life. Please don't make the same mistake that we made, very poor quality but not cheap in price. We even bought what was supposed to be Timberlake's top of the line cabinet:(

"Very upsetting"
We recently update our kitchen cabinets. We ordered Timberlakes top of the line in New Haven with a cream glaze. The glazing on most of the doors is inconsistent and in most corners it is white not cream color. Our cabinet distributor told us this is the way it is supposed to be and use a marker that is supplied to fix it. Very upsetting and not happy with the look.

"Poor quality cabinets"
My house is only 7 yrs old and built by Meritage. Meritage uses Timberlake Cabinets which have particle board glued and stapled together. Today my 2nd draw came apart. Wood disintegrated. I now will have to try to find someone to rebuild for me. Do not use Timberlake products.

"Poor Customer Service"
I purchased a new home with Timberlake cabinets throughout. My wife and I wanted to add built-ins using Timberlake cabinets to match our current cabinets. I called Timberlake's corporate office and they directed me to a local distributor of their product. Long story short ,they produced and installed beautiful new built in cabinets. We wanted to add more cabinets throughout our house and garage. But they are too busy. I e- mailed the corporate office over three times with no results. The cabinets are very nice, but now I have to find someone else and they will not be able to match my existing Timberlake style. It's truly amazing that they'll turn down work. Not we are not happy customers! On another note, it's very frustrating not to be able to call the corporate office. They only communicate through e-mail. Very poor customer service.

"Worst Experience"
We just finished building a David Weekly home, and they use Timberlake as one of their vendors. I am shocked at the level of unprofessionalism exhibited by their ordering office. They have repeatedly disregarded our wishes, and in trying to rectify their mistake, have only continued to make more. My fiance and I have spent a ridiculous amount of time away from work in order for this company to give us the product we ordered, with no result. Our saga is this: instead of drilling no holes so we could install the custom pulls we wanted, Timberlake had their installers drill holes for knobs or every cabinet door and drawer. We had them replace all doors, and instead they patched those they thought we could keep. Outraged, we had them remove all the doors. On their third trip to our home, they only brought half of the doors. On the fourth trip, they were still missing two cabinet doors. Timberlake has the layout and plans for our kitchen, as they are customer cabinets. They could bother to look at them before they waste our time repeatedly. The only plus is that they're wasting their own time and money as well.

"Worst cabinets ever"
These are the cheapest and most poorly constructed cabinets I've ever had. I've had my Ryan home for 3 1/2 years and have 5-6 broken drawer boxes and 3 split cabinet doors. It's been an ongoing issue. The drawer box is not wood but particle board which is merely glued and stapled together. The front of the drawers keep ripping off of the box breaking the particle board apart. The cherry faces of the cabinets have also split vertically. My first home which was less than half the cost of our current home had better quality cabinets than I have now.
