"Split or shifting of inner panel"
I chose the highest level from my builder. Within six months, one of the doors have peeled off paint. Most of other doors/drawers have inner panel shifted or moved, so the unpainted area shows up. I was so mad and upset... I didn't pay extra $$$$$ for this quality with the highest level the builder offers...

"Timberlake cabinets are not good buy"
Another unhappy customer. My cabinet drawer is broken pieces already within 2 years. Builders must be getting a huge discount. They are miserable quality. I don't think this company last long. They might have to change their company name. I will check reviews before I change all my cabinets to other brand. Do not buy! Timberlake cabinets! You will regret! Very soon within 2 years ask your builder about cabinet company.

"Customer Service is Terrible"
I sent in a warranty through our builder to have our cabinets fixed. Timberlake called and scheduled an appointment with us, verified our appointment 3 days prior and then didn't show up! When the builder contacted them they told them that the appointment was scheduled for later in the month without informing the homeowners. This warranty has taken now 5 months to correct which is BS. Customer service is Terrible!

"Worst money ever spent"
These cabinets are horrible. We paid thousands of dollars to upgrade our kitchen and within months the cabinets were splitting. They warped and pulled away from the walls, cracked and split on the seams and almost dissolved. Where ever your finger touches peels and chips, hard to clean . I pulled one of my drawers out and it fell apart, opened a cabinet and the door split, not down the middle but where the cabinet fits together. Apparently it's 4 pieces that are pieces together for each door. Don't waste you time or money.

"Worst cabinet ever"
My cabinets were supposedly upgraded with my CalAtlantic home. These are by far the worst cabinets I've ever owned. If you sneeze on them they chip and dent. The drawers are uneven. They installed a tilt out drawer that split at the screw and they won't warranty even though I'm within the two year warranty repair. They also mis-drilled some holes and then just left them in the back of the cabinets hoping I would never notice. Well I did. Honestly for as much as I paid for my house and these cabinets what a rip off. Do not buy these.

"Lausanne Maple"
I paid over 8,000 to upgrade my kitchen to Lausanne Maple. I was told these cabinet were maple wood. Less than 18 months after I moved in, my cabinet started delaminating. I realized they couldn't be wood cabinet. I call Timberlake and one of the manager told me my cabinet were veneer. I was so shock that I started crying. I'm planing on suing KB. They offered to replace the damaged cabinet, but I will continue to have problem with them. Please don't buy Timberlake. They are cheap, expensive veneer cabinet, not real wood.

"Our New Home Looks like a Scratch & Dent Sale"
We paid Richmond American for a cabinet upgrade package in our new home. A month ago I notified the superintendent and our sales agent that we saw major damage to the cabinets immediately after installation in the kitchen and bathrooms. In addition to damaging the cabinets, the installers scuffed, scratched and even knocked huge holes in the drywall. I asked our Richmond American agent last week if they had been repaired or replaced and she told us "that's what the final walkthrough is for". That was today and nothing had been addressed. Besides the damage, (75% have mild scratches and/or deep gouges) most doors are uneven. Some are warped and do not close. The upgraded soft close drawers don't close all the way. Most of the doors are not sealed and rattle terribly.

"Buyer Beware of Waypoint and Timberlake Cabinetry"
The cabinets came with dings, scratches, a door hanging on by a broken screw. The shelves have chipped edges. Where is the quality control? The territory business manager promised to look into a “partial refund” and “send touch up paint” and we are still waiting... They sure make the product look great on-line but when it’s delivered to your home without packing foam and quarter inch recycled cardboard your left with a pile of ...Buyer Beware!

"Rubbish"
Poor workmanship. Clearly painted over and not very well. So I pay for an upgrade to expresso and thats what I get. Lazy Susan had crack down the middle. Waited 1 month for new piece. Terrible customer service. Expected better from an upgrade to a new home.

"Poor quality"
After 3 years the front of the draw box came off. Poor work, particle board and glue. You call and all you get is a recording. They never return your calls. Conta ted builder and they had call me back. They keep calling to make an appointment to repair it 4x and cancelled all 4x. Don't buy, you may regret it.

"Beautiful Cabinets"
The Sierra Vista cabinets from Timberlake's Portfolio Select line are absolutely gorgeous. The quality of the wood, joinery, finish and hardware exceeded our expectation in our new KB home. The installation was very well done, but I don't know the name of the sub-contractor. The drawers are self-closing and have dovetailed joints. We have the silk color for the main cabinets and the espresso cabinets for the island. They look and perform exceptionally well.

"Not great, but satisfactory"
There are 4 upper cabinet doors that don't close at the top. A representative came out and declared the doors were straight, but the walls were not flush. The lower cabinet door are all straight though and the doors close? The roll out shelves are awesome as I have some physical issues as this makes them completely accessible. They are make of pressed woodchips as I could not afford the real wood cabinets. If I could have afforded it I would have bought the real wood cabinets.

"Disposable Cabinets"
We purchased a new home at The Cannery in Davis, from The New Home Company, and paid to upgrade our Timberlake cabinets to the white shaker style. From the first day, I knew the cabinets were of low quality, and basically disposable. The inside, and underside of the cabinets were finished with a cheap looking, manufactured, honey colored wood that looks terrible. The outside of the doors and drawers show every fingerprint and smudge, even though we added knobs. A few weeks ago we noticed that five of the cabinet doors had several shiny white stripes running along the bottom edge. A representative from Timberlake believed the marks were made by the corrugated cardboard packaging. He sprayed the bottom of each door with a clear varnish(along with our new countertops)and declared the the matter to be taken care of. The next day, I noticed a large smudge on one of the cabinets, and several remaining stripes. Timberlake sent a second repairman who sprayed the cabinets again, and told me the product was self-leveling, and not to touch the cabinets for two days. After the work was completed he asked me to sign off on his computer, explaining that my signature only meant that he showed up. The next morning, I noticed large splotches on the cabinet doors caused by the spray. The New Home Company requested five new doors from Timberlake, and I thought the problem was solved. Nelly, at Timberlake, denied the claim because I had supposedly signed off on the work. Our cabinet doors would only be replaced at our expense. Unbelievable! It's Friday, and everyone has gone home for the weekend, so I'm not sure what will happen. I do know that we will eventually have to replace all of our cheap, disposable Timberlake cabinets. Buyer Beware!

"Cheap, cheap cheap!"
We purchased a William Lyons (Village Home) in Arvada, Colorado and paid a lot! Of $$$$ for it. We love the home except for the Timberlake Cabinets, Our kitchen is a huge feature in the home and these cabinets cheapen it. The finish is dull and milky. The wood is thin and contains numerous imperfections. The stain is uneven and looks different on the inside then on the outside. Working with his company has been a 6 1/2 month nightmare and still nothing has been done. 5 different people with various "titles" have been out to look at them and each one agrees they are dull and milky looking and say they will get back to me. Communication is sketchy and I always have to initiate the follow-up. Still no resolution.

"Horrible Customer Service and Product!"
This is the worst company I've ever dealt with! Their cabinets are cheap garbage! The sample doors don't look like what you get. The cabinet doors we received had little holes in them from bug infestation. When we complained they said it was natural to the wood. If that's the case, the sample door should have bug holes in it so customers are aware of what they get!

"Poor Quality Product"
Purchased brand new home from Richmond  Las Vegas with Timberlake as the cabinet maker just simply a disaster. The quality of service was really slow when someone during construction  made a hole by mistake under the bath sink, it took 3 months just to get a piece of wood to cover the damage since that the easy way or cut the corner to fix the problem instead of the right one to replace the damage cabinet. And the poor product quality already started showed up when the house just finished build in September 2016. The screws loosen easily, paints not properly sprayed, nails marks all over, white spot start pop up and inside cabinet start peeling already. Just hang on till almost a year to see if able to claim for the warranty for all the damaged occurred by that time frame.

"Trashy Cabinets -- White with Brown Interior"
My new Mattamy home was installed with these "upgraded" cabinets in Linen (white) color. I was shocked to discover that all the cabinet interiors are glazed honey color, but only the face and doors were painted white. This is a new home, and day 1 it already looks like it has had a cheap cabinet reface makeover (inside is brown, outside is white). The builder claims it's too expensive to paint the inside (despite I paid extra 14,500 for upgraded and all white), so the cabinet maker simply clear coated the inside and repainted the face and doors only, and it looks cheap & terrible. I'm expecting them to start cracking and falling apart soon (judging by the other reviews). These days the consumer gets screwed on everything, highest price for lowest quality, cutting corners, and not standing behind anything. I have given my builder a chance to rectify this, still waiting for their response.

"Worst customer service ever!"
We purchased our brand new home built by Express (DRHorton). There was a minor chip on one of the corners of the formica on the island that happened during building and it was scheduled to have it repaired under warranty. That was the end of July. It was scheduled 2 weeks later and the guy from Timberlake came out and the piece wasn't long enough so I had to reschedule. They didn't call me to reschedule like I was told. I called them. Rescheduled. Another guy came out and again... wrong measurements! They never called me to reschedule, I then couldn't get a hold of anyone for weeks. I called, emailed, left messages, again and again. Finally after saying I will get a lawyer involved they email me back. I schedule again (it's now the end of October) and they don't show up. Then I get an email after the missed appt that they don't have the part. Unbelievable the nerve that these people have. I'm so over it. My builder is even disgusted with the service of Timberlake.
