"Passing the flame on to you."
Have had this little stove for over 35years. Moved it to My office kitchen 20yrs ago and for the last 10 maybe used it twice. Not because it doesn't operate but microwave popcorn seems to be the office staple. I have recently divorced and in order to keep my office must sell lots of sentimental items. Modern Maid is one of them Hurts but happy to say the stove is in great condition. Make a good offer bring this warm honey home. burningbushllc@yahoo.com

"Still love my cooktop"
I purchased my Modern Maid cooktop and wall oven for our new home around December 1976, and am so thankful for doing so. The cooktop is shallow, which gave me room to put a drawer just for knives, spatulas, etc., underneath. Everything on the cooktop come off easily and it raises easily, so it is a dream to clean. After 35 years, it's as clean as a new one in a store! Of course, I have purchased new drip pans several times over the years. What will I do if I ever have to replace my cooktop??? It's Harvest Gold, but I will keep it and work around the color unless I am told there is another color available in the SAME thing. I highly recommend Modern Maid.

"My favorite appliance"
I don't know exactly how old the Modern Maid oven in my kitchen is. We bought the house 25 years ago and the pale yellow double oven unit was in the house then. Even though the color doesn't match the other applianaces. The temp. is always on the money. It bakes like a dream. IF we live long enough, we will have to replace this unit. It will truly be a sad day in my kitchen.

"Modern Maid Stove Top Range with down draft and grill"
I need new modulars for the stove I have. Especially the grill. Can you help me!! Or have all parts been discontinued? I love this stove top range and hate to depart with it.

"Lots of Problems - One Answer!"
Have been using a Modern Maid cooktop with oven on top for more than 25 years - both electric and gas models, and I'd never design a kitchen without their wonderful convenience.
Not only space savers,the convenience of warm dishes in a base cabinet can't be overlooked.
When I first saw the arrangement over a dishwasher, I couldn't believe it, however my next kitchen had another configuration, and I was delighted at how the base cabiner worked out.
I have had NO TROUBLE with the units, themselves, and all in all I would recommend this Modern Maid combination for convenience and style as well as its space-saving property.

I just wanted to let someone know we have had our gas modern maid stove for over 43 years old and we just finally decided to get a new stove because the oven sometimes does not work. It has been a great stove.
