"Double Oven Double Love"
I recently purchased the LG - 30" Self-Cleaning Freestanding Double Oven Electric Convection Range - Stainless-Steel from Best Buy. I bought it because I loved the idea of being able to cook multiple dishes at once at different temperatures. I figure this will come in handy most on holidays. A really cool feature it has is first, it is a flat range. This means you do not have to go through all the trouble of cleaning the wire ranges of the past. Second, it is a smart range. You can put whatever size pot you want on any of the four ranges and it will adjust to the size, which gives me a very even cook every time. Also I love that the temperature controls are electric so I can the exact temperature I want. The oven is really great to finish baking one dish in one oven and keep the already done dish warming in the other oven. I would definitely by this brand again and have already recommended it to several friends.

"Stove Review-LG"
Personally, when I bought this stove about 7 months ago, I had very high expectations given that our washing machine was LG and is fantastic. I am fairly disappointed with a couple of different aspects about this stove. One of the few things that I do like is the look of the stove and how it complements the rest of our kitchen. On the other hand, the quality does not meet the standards that I was looking for. Several times my food has been overheated as the temperature settings do not seem to stay constant based on the reading you have them at. The stove is very hard to clean and certain stains seem to stay longer than others. I also feel that the surface is too small to cook on, which in some cases, may become dangerous being so close in proximity to what you are cooking simultaneously and also the countertop. I would recommend this stove only to a startup couple who is living in a small house or apartment. Good luck on your search!

"Awesome and cooks Great!"
We have recently moved into a new home and to be honest the Range was the item I was most excited about getting! You see, at our old home our range was very old. The pilot in the oven was going out and the starter barely worked. Not only do I think that it probably was a fire hazard, I was nine months pregnant on the floor banging the starter with a stick to make my kids dinner. NOT COOL! Anyways, moved into the new house and once this was installed I have been a cookin mama! There are so many wonderful features and my kids love the song it plays when it is finished cooking! Not to mention, it is so cool to look at! We get compliments on it all of the time. My brother actually works at an appliance store and every time he visits he comments on how awesome our range is.

"oven over heating big time"
Oven over heated & almost started a fire, LG said they would fix it, then after I called there repair man and ordered the parts they said they wouldn't. Now the person I talked to is always on the phone when I call and never calls back. No oven for three weeks now!

"DO NOT PURCHASE LG APPLIANCES"
Approx. 6 years ago I change out my entire kitchen to stainless steel and pted for LG appliances. The motor in the dishwasher burned out within five years and the cost to purchase a new motor equalled the cost of the dishwasher. We bought another one from a different manuf. The the door of the built-in mircowave has been replaced three times. It appears that the heat from the stove causing the electronics to burn out on the microwave. While waiting for replacement parts, I am using a 10 year old microwave oven that cast less than $100. Go Figure. The stainless steel knob have plastic inserts and LG wants $80+ per knob to replace them. You have to be careful when opening the refrigerator door because the plastic compartments will come loose and allow everything on the door to hit the floor. From time to time the washing machine leaks water, and I am sure it is a fatality waiting to happen. I am making it my personal business to warn as many people as possible not to purchase LG products. The applainces look pretty and that is where the quality ends.

"stove"
Absolutely the biggest waste of money I have every spent. I fell for the high end look and was told it was a good stove. Well - never again! After a year and a half, I was limited to two elements on the stove (there are five). A joke!

"overall not worth the $$"
This stove is certain to wow you in the store. It is really a good looking appliance. The interior of the oven is blue enamel and is huge! Smooth cooktop heats evenly, although it difficult to clean up messy spills. The cool looking digital controls are just that - cool looking. This will be the 3rd circuit board for my stove in 3 years. Would I buy this stove again? NO WAY! If it weren't for the defective circuit board, this would have been a great stove. Warranty is only one year on parts.
