"Good Reliable Stove"
We've have been living this apartment with this stove for a few months now. It has been very reliable thus far. I have not had any problems using the stove at all. I like this face about it. It cooks my food in a normal cooking time and everything on it is very clearly labeled. However, it is not a very beautiful looking stove. It certainly does not look modern. The burners do not always stay even either. This is not a major problem, but I do have to be careful so that my food cooks evenly. It is, however, very easy to clean the stove-top. The oven is also self-cleaning, which is nice. We have never had to repair anything nor have we had any problems. I would recommend this brand. However, I wouldn't purchase it myself. It is great for the apartment, but when I am in a home again I would like something with a little bit classier look.

"Very Satisfied With My Purchase"
I purchased a GE electric stove unit model number JBS55DMBB , about three or four years ago. It is a very good electric stove. I am completely satisfied with my purchase. I have not seen as much of a reduction in my utility bill as I would have liked to, but I did see a reduction. The GE JBS55DMBB electric stove unit has lots of extra bells and whistles on that is a very nice positive attribute. I think with a few upgrades to my house my energy bill will be right down there where I expected it to be. I have qualified technician come out once a year to check out the system and make sure nothing is wrong or going bad with the system. They have never found a problem. Overall my GE JBS55DMBB electric stove unit is a great system that I would recommend to anyone that is looking to replace their old worn out system.

"Inconsistent Stove"
I've owned my GE gas stove for about 5 years now, and the only thing I can say that it does is cook my food. It has a larger front burner, for really big pots, which I like...because that's the only burner on this stove that really gets a pot of water boiling. The main things I dislike about this stove are; I went with a white finish, which I will NEVER do again. It shows absolutely everything and the finish on my stove is nearly impossible to clean, even with scouring pads. The baked on stains simply won't come off, so my stove looks dirty all the time. The burners don't heat adequately. The only burner that works on this stove is the front right burner, designed for larger pots. I can't heat more than one pot at a time, which is really frustrating. The oven itself cooks, but not consistently. Sometimes the food is burnt and other times it's still undercooked, depending on how it was placed in the oven. One side might be cooked better than the other, so it has inconsistent heating within the oven. Same issue with the broiler. Overall, I would never buy this brand of stove again or recommend it to anyone.

"My GE Glasstop Stove"
I got my stove almost 6 months ago. It is a cream colored GE Glass top. I purchased it from Badcock furniture. I like the stove, it is nice because it has a timer and a clock on it. The oven cooks very evenly. But the eye tops seem to take so long to heat up and keeping the glass top clean and stain free is nearly impossible and I am so afraid of dropping something on the top and breaking it. My spices are above my stove and because of my fear I moved them to a different location. I have been told that the cost of a replacement top is pretty high. I love that it has a self cleaning option on it.I had a GE prior to buying this one and my frig and dishwasher are GE. I would most certainly buy another GE I just do not know if I would buy a glass top again.

"great GE Electric stove"
I have had the General Electric (GE) stove for approximately 8 years. I like that the General Electric (GE) stove is a flat cook top and easy to clean after each and every use. I also like that it has an oven beneath it and that the oven and the cook top stove heats up relatively fast. I have no dislikes about the General Electric (GE) stove well except for that the top takes a while to cool down so it is possible to forget about it and burn yourself on the flat cook top but overall it is not a very big issue. I have never had to have the General Electric (GE) stove repaired or replaced. I would definitely buy the same stove brand being General Electric (GE) again because overall it has been a great stove and has lasted a very long time and still looks like new.

"A Stove That Gets the Job Done!"
I have owned my General Electric stove for over three years now. It is a white stove, and it blends nicely with my white cabinets and appliances. I like that it has a light to help me see the food I am cooking. I like the timer, and I like the clock button. I can hit the clock button if my timer is on, and it will display the time. I think that is so cool! I like that the stove range is flat. I do not have to deal with metal coils or tin foil! I like that the burners turn bright red when they are hot. There is also a light that comes on to let you know if you have a burner on. I cannot tell you how many times that has saved me! My only complaint is if food boils over it sticks to the burner. I have to scrap it off with a razor blade. My oven has never needed a repair. I would recommend this stove to a friend, and I would consider buying it again. It is great!

"I Love our GE Spectra Electric Range"
Our home was built from the ground up eight years ago this past August of 2010. Every item in the house was placed here without our selection. I was surprised that the range was a top selection as well as electric. I like the self-cleaning. however, since I don't clean but twice a year I forget how its done. We have not had any repairs and yes I would purchase the same brand and recommend it to friends and family.

"GE Profile P2B918SEMSS - pretty darn good"
Let me start off by saying dual fuel is the way to go. When it was delivered it was a piece of cake to set up with the natural gas hose all ready to go from my previous stove. While the burners are pretty nice, they also sometimes take a bit too long for my liking to light up. I've tried cleaning them but no luck. The oven cooks like a charm but the back left corner seems to be a heat hot spot. Overall a nice stove

"GE Specta Tru Temp automatic oven- not too bad"
My GE Specta Tru Temp Automatic Oven is a 14-year-old electric oven. It has 4 flat burners and one oven. All parts of it work well, and the temperature is true to what the thermostat says. We cook at home every day, and this stove has been very reliable. I have never had any mechanical problems with it or any repairs beyond me changing the light bulb. The reason I rated this stove "somewhat satisfied" as opposed to "very satisfied" is the flat cooktop. The burners are flush to the rest of the cooktop, and stay hot for a long time after the burner is turned off. They stay hot enough to burn skin for a long time after they are not red anymore. We have never had a serious burn result from this, but we have had a couple of blisters and some scorched potholders and dishtowels. When the time comes to replace this reliable stove, I will get one that does not have a flat cooktop.

"No fire for me"
I got this stove as a house warming gift when we moved into our new home in february. I wanted an electric stove because they are easier to clean in my opinion and I really dont like to deal with fire. The GE electric range that I have comes with a storage drawer at the bottom of it under the oven, I use this drawer to put my frying pans and glass baking dishes in. The stove has a self cleaning option that I love. there is a handle that locks it while cleaning itself because it gets to very hot temperatures. While I am baking I can set a timer that tells me how long things have been baking and it beeps when the timer is done counting down for how ever long you set it for. It also beeps when the oven is done being preheated for whatever temperature you set it for. This is a decent range and im glad I got it as a house warming gift.
