"My likes and dislikes of my flat top electric stove"
I've had this stove top for a little over a year. I purchased it used from a local remodeling center. It has worked well and I really like how quickly it heats up. I can boil water much faster then with my old coil stove. I also like how easy the surface is to wipe clean, there are no wells for food to get stuck it. Unfortunately this model is two modular unit which means that the heating elements come out in two pieces. This leaves a surface that is not solid and food particles and liquids get trapped in between the elements. It is very easy to lift the elements and clean the crevices but it is highly annoying. Just recently, one of the heating elements broke and although I have tried to find a replacement, so far no luck. It seems that it is an older model and I can't even find a listing for it on the manufacturers web site. I would not recommend this model to a friend but I do like the brand.
