Maytag makes a variety of appliances for the entire home including laundry, kitchen, heating and cooling products,
and water heaters. They offer a full selection of built-in ovens, ranges, and cooktops.
Maytag's 32 different ranges come in drop-in, slide-in, and freestanding models. They are powered by gas or
electricity and are 29 or 30 inches wide. Some models have double ovens, and most are self-cleaning. There are
seven color choices for ranges, including three kinds of white.
Maytag's built-in ovens can be single, double, or oven/microwave combinations. They come in 24, 27 and 30 inches
wide and in three color choices: black, white, or stainless steel.
Gas and electric cooktops are available from Maytag in ten different models. They can be 30 or 36 inches wide,
with 4 - 6 burners. All Maytag products come with a use and care manual and installation instructions.
Maytag's History
Frederick Louis Maytag started his company in 1907. He wanted to make solid dependable appliances that would last
for a long time. Whirlpool acquired Maytag on April 1, 2006. It still uses
the Maytag brand name and intends to keep their original plan of focusing on customer needs and wants. The Maytag
company claims that their reputation is one of dependabiity and service.

Maytag's Warranty
The Maytag warranty for appliances, including ranges, stoves, and ovens, covers the item for 1 year from purchase
