"Woods: all refrigerators"
I loved the fridge when I bought it (2009). I did not buy extra warranty
as the old fridge we had lasted 21 years. I renovated my kitchen and wanted
an all-new fridge. Best thing I ever bought (or so I thought). Three years
later it stopped working (2012). They said where I bought it that Woods
went out of business. Sorry, too bad.... That was Jan 2012. Its April 2012
and I am still looking for parts . Come on, they did not just drop off the
face of the earth -- there must be parts in a warehouse somewhere.... I
wish someone could tell me where to get them.

"woods all fridge from leons"
My problem is the same as everyone else. I agree that this fridge is crap.
But that a huge company as Leons that says on black and white customer
satisfaction guaranteed is a bunch of baloney. It is nice for me to use
because baloney is at least good for something as for us spending our
hard earned money on the appliance that sets us back more cash and time
dealing with service calls than we deserve. A company tried to make a
go at making fridges and failed but the company that sold it to us is
still stronger than ever still selling furniture and appliances to hard
working families but not this Leons has supplied my family and in-laws
and friend for more than thirty years and now they are going to blow it
on this warranty. When our woods all fridge was bought we were told it
was a great fridge made in Guelf canada but really we were suckered in
as well we had our fridge replaced early when it was purchased it went
on the blitz and then again sometime after woods went out of business,
we tried to get it fixed through leons and this is what happened. We
called them and told us that they have no record of us buying the fridge. I
was shocked cause they had no record of us buying anything in the last
twenty years, cause apparently the owner nick and tom retired and leons
apparently went corporate. I went to the store Leons in person and spoke
to the manager he said come in to my office and lets see about your
info. He goes online and says to me "wow woods has no web site and asks
me to go home and get serial numbers and we could track info." I called and gave the serial number and leave it with him for about a week when we did not
hear from him I called and asked for a manual cause apparently all the
warranty stuff info he needed would be there and when we got that for
him, we waited again we went back and he says "now we need receipt cause
now he says that maybe we purchased the fridge from the Brick and I was
trying to pull a fast one." This is when I came unglued to say the least
and started yelling and saying that he was trying to rip us off ,he told
me to stop yelling in the store and I replied that everyone needed to
know that he was trying to rip us off and we were with out a fridge for
weeks now and we we're using a fridge from a co worker of the wife's.
Well of course we could not find receipt and out of frustration we went
to sears and bought a fridge, fast forward a year later we find receipt
we go back in with receipt and found out the manager we dealt with has
been fired for customer complaint I wish I knew he had dicked others
around cause I would have jumped on that band wagon, now Leons still is
not willing to help a 100%.

"don't buy a wood's"
needed a unit for a tight space with no freezer. found a wood's frig online. it has never kept food cold and runs all the time and is so loud we've moved it to thee garage and have no frig in the kitchen. upon further inspection i see that the door doesn't even hang right, leaves a gap in the top gasket and is hung too low so the light doesn't even get turned off when you close it. i can see light coming out of the closed frig! there seems to be no way to hang the door higher and looks like a bad design as door is hung an inch too low for it to work.

"ALL REFRIGERATOR"
Some years ago, I bought an all Wood's refrigerator. After approximately two years, it wasn't staying cold anymore. I called the store where I bought it and they replaced it immediately. Now the second refrigerator is on the fritz again, doing the same thing. Apparently there's a leak. I got a service man in a week ago Friday and almost a week later, it is doing the same thing. I am told Wood's has gone bankrupt and I can't get it fixed properly.
