"Not your ordinary refrierator"
My husband and I are looking for a new frig after having our Norge for 20+ yrs with no problems nor repsirs until recently. My husband says we've got our moneys worth out of the frig. I can truly relate to all of the other reviews as to the longevity and superior quality of this amazing brand.

"42 years still good condition"
Good day, I'm writing this because I'll would like to give some facts about Norge ref that my mother bought last 1968. Believe it or not the unit is still in good condition except for the frame being painted all the parts and the compressor is still original.

"Norge freezer"
We have a 1955 "Pink" Norge freezer that my husband and I purchased as newlyweds in 1955. We have not spent one penny on it and it is still running! If you would like a picture, I'd be glad to send one. I think it should be in an advertisement for Norge.

"Built to last"
My wife and I are upset that our two and one half year old dish washer has broken down, especially after using the previous dishwasher for 25 years. The situation made us think of our Norge refrigerator that sits in the bar room downstairs. It still works well and is used mostly as an overflow appliance around holidays or during the summer. Fact is, we bought the Norge, with the house, in July of 1970. No repairs, no replacement parts. That's quality.

My grandmother bought a Norge Refrierator back in 1957 and it was still in use up to 2007 without any problems or maint. what so ever.
What a great product. They sure don't make them like that anymore.

My wife and I will be celebrating our fifieth wedding anniversary this month. We purchased a Norge refrigerator when we were married, we still have it. It contiues to operate and has never had to be repaired.

"Excellent unit and very spacious"
I have just returned from living in the United Arab Emirates where we lived in a luxury Apartment which was fitted out with brand new Norge Refig/Freezer units.
All in all there was 16 floors in the building with 5 Apts on each floor, thats 80 Norge units.
Hence the stories I have heard of Noge Fridges being discontinued is obviously false. All of these units were installed in March 2008, unless they were discontinued in 2009, unlikely
