"This refrigerator is as cool as ice!"
I bought the Maytag 21.0 quite recently. I bought this refrigerator about two months ago, and I am extremely pleased with it. It has thus far performed fantastically. I like this refrigerator for many reasons. One reason is that it is simple, but not too simple. I hate over technical things but I also hate over simple things. But this refrigerator is right in the middle and it is perfect. Some refrigerators are super loud and make buzzing noises when up to the full capacity, but this refrigerator is very quiet and you almost never hear it! Another thing I like about this refrigerator is that there is an ice maker. My old refrigerator did not have an ice maker, and I had to make the little cubes in trays, and it was so annoying. But with this refrigerator, I can make it with just the push of a button. Also, the door bins are adjustable, which is really helpful if you need to fit extra things into it. But this refrigerator isn't perfect. Something that really annoys me is that this refrigerator is not spill proof, so if something leaks in it, it will stay there unless mopped immediately. I made that mistake with fruit punch. Also, there is no water dispenser. There is only an ice dispenser, but there is no water dispenser! I find that very dumb. Also, the side doors can only hold up to a 1 gallon jug of juice, milk, water, etc. I have never had to repair or replace it thus far. I would buy the same brand again and recommend it to a friend, because it is so great.

"Very cool fridge with some quality issues"
I've had the Maytag for 4 years now and as far as the design and concept, it's great. Having the top as the fridge with 2 split doors allows for a lot of room and for storing long pans and containers, and the freezer on the bottom has a ton of room, sort of like a small horizontal freezer. Now onto the bad. The ice maker is currently broken, and this is the third time it has happened, and now we have to pay for its repairs ourselves. Also, 2 years ago it was having problems keeping a stable temperature. Maytag has pretty good service, but the warranty is two years, and it seems that that's not long enough for this fridge. Despite some of the larger failures like those, it's a really nice, sturdy piece, and doesn't seem like something that should break down all the time. Perhaps I bought a lemon, but it is something to consider when getting this. I would warn a friend about buying this, but now discourage it necessarily, because while it has some issues, I'm still glad I have it.

"Stainless Steal Maytag works well but is difficult to clean"
I have owned my Maytag refrigerator for 4 years. My husband and I chose it to match our other stainless steal appliances. We liked the design, and thought it added a modern, sleek element to the kitchen. Both the refrigerator and freezer work well and run quietly, however, the stainless steal is difficult to clean. The front of the refrigerator is always gathering finder prints from opening and closing the doors. The interior is equally difficult to clean. as the glass shelving is too large to fit in our double sink. The freezer door opens is there is the slightest pressure from within, so all food must be pushed far away from the door to ensure a tight seal. We have not needed a repair, which I am pleased with since it is only 4 years old. When we buy our next refrigerator, I will likely buy Maytag again, but not stainless steal. I would prefer something easier to clean with a magnetic front door.

"The Refrigerator That Won't Die"
We've owned this refrigerator for almost 5 months. I LOVE IT!! Its very easy to clean, I use paper towels and diluted lysol. For the price we paid it made our kitchen double in value. It has the freezer on the bottom and then double doors for the fridge. Which is awesome because I have a two year old who is obsessed with opening doors-he can't leave the fridge open anymore. This fridge has withstood VERY rough movers, small fitting doors (I have an old house), and three children ages seven and younger. Not too mention being colored on, taped on, etc. It has become a masterpiece holder for artwork, a happy place for late night cravings, and the god of ice cream and hidden snacks. I haven't had to replace anything, yet, but as I said its a newer fridge. I would buy it again and would recommend to others. We liked it so much I post on a blog and shared pics of it to my readers-that says a lot.

"Decent and Energy Efficient Refrigerator, Nothing to Brag About"
The main reason I got this refrigerator, which I would say was about eight years ago, was because It was energy efficient. I was on a kick with energy efficient things. Every light bulb in my house was an energy efficient bulb. Anyway it turns out that the energy efficient aspect put a bit of a damper on the performance aspect. I'm not saying it isn't a good refrigerator, I would probably even recommend it to someone looking for a decent energy efficient refrigerator, the performance is just a little lower than I expected. My biggest concern is the freezer. It's just not cold enough. It's cold enough to freeze ice, but not everything. It might seem silly but I'm a nig ice cream fan and the freezer makes it impossible to store ice cream. It ends up really soft and melty, not how I like my ice cream. A lot of time when I take prepackaged foods out of the freezer the boxes are often soggy. Although It runs this way in all the time I have owned the refrigerator I have never had to have it repaired, which is definitely a good thing. The actual refrigerator runs at a pretty good temperature, although the dials for the temperature settings don't seem to make too big of a difference. Overall I would say it's a pretty decent refrigerator, as far as energy efficient refrigerators go.

"Works really well, sometimes too well"
I love how much space this fridge has. We never run out of room. That being said, we have had some problems with things freezing that we don't want to, especially keeping it cold enough to have really cold milk. We have to carefully arrange items so that some of the things we don't want too cold go in the drawers or in the front. I do really like the varied widths. It makes it easy to keep a big tray or pizza in the fridge or freezer. The other one complaint I have is that I do wish the freezer was a tad bigger but we probably have more than average frozen items. Overall though it has kept our food cold and contained more than enough space with good organization. We have had it for 3 years now. The water atachment is sometimes hard to install the line. We have had problems with it leaking. It does provide good amounts of ice. We have never had any problems with the icemaker.

"Its noisy and not the best design, but my fridge does the trick"
I have owned my refrigerator for approximately 7 years. I don't have any major complaints because I have never needed any repairs done or anything. It does its job. It keeps my food and drinks at the desired temperature, and the temperature controls seem to be more accurate than most fridges I've had. I basically keep the gauges in the middle of the spectrum, and my food is generally the desired temperature. One problem I have with it is that it does get pretty noisy when its running, as if its working overtime. Also, if something goes bad in the fridge or the freezer, its really hard to get the bad smell out of both. It just permeates through each compartment, and the odors seem to literally freeze to everything in the freezer. One final complaint would be that they could have designed the internal refrigerator door space better so that you could fit tall items somewhere in there, like an opened bottle of wine with the cork in it. All in all, I can't complain too much about a fridge that still does its job well after 7 years, but I still wouldn't recommend this model to a friend.

"Yay maytag!"
I never had to repair my refridgerator and I've had it for almost 7 years. So, I guess maytag is a good brand to follow by.

"Maytag refrigerator is nice for a small kitchen"
I have owned this refrigerator for 3.5 years. I bought a condo at that time and it came with the condo. I like that the refrigerator is small enough to accommodate my small kitchen without overpowering the room. It is compact yet still has enough space to hold a week's worth of food for 2 people. I also think that it is very stylish, something that is important to me. I don't like that anything in a cardboard box (soda, beer, etc) will leave cardboard residue on the glass shelves. I also have noticed that the lights within the refrigerator do not last very long - I've replaced them twice in 3.5 years. The only repair other than changing light bulbs has been the water line to the ice maker, although this is not the fault of the manufacturer (Maytag) but rather the contractor that installed it. I would buy a Maytag M0RXEMMWB again if the price was right.

"Why I love my Energy Star Maytag Refrigerator"
My husband and I recently purchased a Maytag stainless refrigerator and we really love it. We have had it for about six months now and so far have not had any problems or regrets. We really like the way that it looks, the built in ice maker and water filter system. We also really like the side by side design over the traditional top freezer. What I love most about it is that it is a Energy Star appliance so it is much better for the environment and over time should save us money on our electric bill. The only thing that we dislike is that it shows hand prints easily so I have to wipe it down a lot but that is not a big deal to us. We are really pleased with the model that we purchased, it is plenty big, it has plenty of room in the refrigerator and the freezer sections with lots of shelf and drawer space. We really love this model and would recommend it to anyone.
