"Great Family-Friendly Fridge"
I have owned this refrigerator for about a year. I love the automatic ice maker with water/crushed ice/cubed ice dispenser. Great to have with 3 children ages 7-14. The amount of space inside is incredible, we can fit a weeks worth of dinner in it with space left over. The shelves inside can be adjusted and the racks on the doors can be moved up or down to accommodate larger bottles like wine bottles. The freezer is a pull out on the bottom and has a top and bottom to it. The "Pizza Drawer" is perfect to keep a few pizzas without them getting in the way of getting other things out of the freezer. The only thing I dislike about this fridge is how its a little hard to clean up spills inside the fridge. However, it is like that will most all fridges. I have never needed to repair it other than changing out the water filter every few months-a very easy task. I would definitely buy the same fridge again and recommend it to my friends. It is a great fridge and at a reasonable price.

"Loud Ice Maker"
Shortly after our Profile fridge was delivered, we discovered water on the floor. We had to have a repair man out twice, he fixed it and it was back but in a different place. They finally said they knew what was wrong but a part had to be ordered and there was welding involved. We called the salesman who just replaced the whole thing. Now our new one has a extremely loud ice maker when the ice drops. Our bedroom is upstairs and on one side of the house and it has woke my husband and myself up from a sound sleep with the noise from time to time.

"My Refrigerator is great when it actually works"
I've owned my refrigerator for about 6 years now and am somewhat satisfied with it. I like that it is stainless steel and looks very heavy duty but I am not happy with the way the ice-maker works. After having the refrigerator operating in my kitchen for approximately 3 years, there was a leak that I noticed coming from the bottom. It appeared that they tube that was meant to carry water to the ice-maker was frayed, and began leaking. I tried ordering a new tube, but it became difficult because I didn't know which tube to order, and even if I had known, I would not know how to install it. I had to call a repairman to come and evaluate the refrigerator to test it, and order the parts, and repair it. I would certainly buy the same brand again, because aside from the repair to the ice-maker, I have not had any other problems with the refrigerator, even though I've had it for quite some time, and use it daily.

"GE Profile Rocks!"
I've owned our GE Profile side-by-side refrigerator for over 2 years and I have been very pleased with both its performance and its appearance. It's a very sleek, stylish, aesthetically pleasing appliance and really looks sharp in our kitchen. The electronic control panel (in the door) for the water and ice is very hi-tech, and the filtering system definitely improves the taste of our city water. The glass shelves are fully adjustable, and one of them actually drops has a front section that drops down and slides back so that taller containers can be placed on the front of the shelf and smaller items can be placed on the back half shelf. Very convenient!
Although we've never had any mechanical problems with our GE Profile, I have to admit that the stainless steel exterior is difficult to keep clean. I have to use special stainless steel cleaner and wipes quite frequently because the stainless shows every fingerprint and smudge. All things considered though, this is an exceptional refrigerator and I would definitely recommend it to family and friends.

"model PSS26MGTCC"
The worst refridgerator ever built, 3 years old and GE doesn,t make the parts to fix it. Freezer door leaks water all over kitchen floor. GE no longer makes the part to fix it.It needs a new replacement freezer door to fix problem , but GE doesn,t make this door anymore. Its only 3 years old . Problem started at 1 year old. Do not buy a GE rifridgerator, they leak water, and they do not make replacement parts to fix the problem on the GE PROFILE, iTS THEIR TOP OF THE LINE REFRIDGERATOR. $2400.00 FOR A LEAKING PEICE OF SHIT.

"Not worth the money!!"
We purchased a side-by-side with all the bells & whistles, i.e. custom cool, express chill, turbo cool, beverage center. What we found out later when we started to have temperature variations that cause thawing in the freezer and unsafe temperatures in the refrigerator compartment, was that there was only one evaporator to support the separate air flow systems. DEFECT in my book, but to date, GE has not stood by their product and my very expensive unit is yet to be fixed. We have had a frost ball kit installed, foam placed at the main compartment temp sensors, a mother board was to be installed even though ours did not test bad. I refused to have it done at my expense if they were not sure that it would take care of the problem. I cannot believe that GE will not admit that this was a defective unit in their high-end models and that they can not figure out how to fix it. Perhaps it is not fixable?
