History
Sanyo produced its first refrigerator (the "Showcase") in March 1962. In 1969 Sanyo expanded its production
of refrigerators for local markets. In 1997 Sanyo established Sanyo Commercial Refrigeration International Co.,
Ltd. which is responsible for marketing and promoting Sanyo refrigerators worldwide.
