Summary
LG's full line of refrigerators includes: French door, side-by-side and bottom freezer and top freezer
refrigerators. At one time LG marketed the brand of refrigerators known as Goldstar; however, it
currently markets all its refrigerators under the LG name.
All of LG's French Door refrigerators and some of its side-by-side and bottom freezer refrigerators
carry the Energy-Star seal for high efficiency, while only one of its freezer-on-top refrigerators has the
Energy-Star seal.
Energy Star is a program of the US government designed to encourage consumers and businesses to purchase
higher efficiency products: from appliances, to furnaces, roofs, and entire homes!

History
Founded in 1958, Goldstar is the Korean-based company that produced Korea's first refrigerator in 1965.
In 1995, Goldstar was renamed LG Electronics.

Warranty
All LG refrigerators come with a one-year labor warranty, a one-year parts warranty and a seven-year
extended warranty on its sealed systems. Refrigerators under 3.4 cubic feet can be carried in to the
service center; however, refrigerators over 3.4 cubic feet are serviced on-site.
