Summary
Whirlpool
markets a line of side-by-side and freezer on top refrigerators under the Estate brand.
The doors are constructed of double cavities filled with foam. The door shelves are wide enough to hold
gallon cartons and bottles, as well as other over-sized items. They range in storage capacity from 14.4 cubic
ft to 25.2 cubic ft, and come in white and Natural Silver finishes. Other features include:
- Clear meat pan
- Freezer and refrigerator door shelves
- Clear humidity controlled fruit and vegetable crispers
- Full width spill proof glass shelves
- Top end models have external ice makers and water dispensers
- Some door shelves hold gallon containers
- Contoured doors
History
Estate began as the Estate Stove Company in 1884. Estate was purchased by RCA in 1952 and then by Whirlpool
in 1955.

Warranty
One-year warranty for parts and labor for any defects is standard on all refrigerators. The service must be
provided by an authorized Whirlpool repair person. If the unit has a water filter, it is covered by the same
warranty, but for a period of thirty days only. From year 2 thru 5, the warranty is extended to the sealed
refrigerator unit. This includes the compressor, condenser, evaporator, dryer, and connection tubing.
Service must be provided by a designated Whirlpool service provider.
