Bosch Refrigerators
Bosch has a range of fully integrated, energy efficient, built-in refrigeration products known as Integra
Refrigerators. The line includes bottom freezer designs and wine coolers that give added storage and versatility.
They have trademarked the MARKETFRESH™ Food Preservation System that they say keeps food fresher for longer.
Their Evolution line is quite popular with various user-friendly features such as an external ice and water
dispenser; 24" counter depth, and external controls. Bosch appliances are known for their Energy Star Compliant
ratings.
History
Robert Bosch founded his company almost 122 years ago in Germany, first making his mark in electric equipment. The
first factory was constructed in 1900, and in 1906, they opened the first American factory in New York City.
Brand new Bosch refrigerators were first displayed in the Elektrische Werke shop window in Stuttgart in 1933.
Bosch describes its success to "leading-edge modernity in technology . . . combined with the timeless and
humanistic values espoused by the founder."
Parts and Repair Information
Replacement parts and accessories may be ordered directly from Bosch and on their website. Consumers need to know
the appliance model number (E-Nr) that is to be found on the data label of the appliance. A list of authorized
repair centers and technicians qualified to carry out repairs can also be found on the Bosch website.
Warranty
General warranty for various models may be obtained directly from the manufacturer. Additional extended warranty
from 1 to 4 years may be available from retailer.
