Westinghouse Electric first entered the appliance market with the purchase of a stove company in 1917, but it was
not until1935 that it introduced its first portable dishwasher. In 1975, Westinghouse Electric was acquired by
White Consolidated Industries and the company White-Westinghouse came into being. In 1986, Westinghouse Electric
Corporation was acquired by Electrolux.
Today products with the White-Westinghouse name are made worldwide and distributed as an Electrolux brand. Not all

vary.
