Roper Dishwashers
Roper dishwashers are now manufactured by the Whirlpool Corporation. Under the Roper
brand name, Whirlpool produces a range of washers, dryers, cooking ranges, and refrigeration appliances.
History
Roper Corporation began production in 1874. With a long and successful history behind them, the company became
part of the Whirlpool Corporation in 1987. In collaboration with General Electric, Roper remained the brand name
for major appliances, while G.E. took over manufacturing the Roper cooking ranges which they then supplied to
Whirlpool.
Special Features of Roper Dishwashers
Roper offers one model of dishwasher: RUD4000SQ. It has a large capacity single piece injection molded tub
ensuring no weak points. The Duraperm door lining is durable and stain resistant and it comes with a 1-year
limited warranty. The appliance also has a self-cleaning filter that keeps it clog-free. Its operating system has
5 cycles including Rinse Only and Plate Warmer cycles.
Roper's Warranty
The Roper Service Plan gives customers additional coverage for a period of 1 to 3 years beyond the manufacturer's
warranty period. Roper also has provision to refund the purchase price if the customer is not satisfied with the
product within the first 30 days of purchase.
