Review:
Cabinets arrived and were installed by contractor. While finishing installation needed matching paint for crown molding. Three weeks after partial install doors had red dots appearing. Called Wellborn who tried to blame everyone but themselves for defective paint. wanted replacement cabinets. After waiting for 8 months removed cabinets and purchased new cabinets. Hired chemist and it was determined to be a bad mix of red paint making paint color up. are now in alaw suit to get refund and it is going on four years. Can't wait to have my day in court. They are trying everything not to return my purchased price.

I bought wellborn woodcraft series 3 years back; I am very satisfied with quality and style. My KD suggested it and he has it in his house for the last 36 years and it still looks great.

Our builder installed Wellborn Kitchen white foil kitchen cabinets in our new home. In less than a year half if not almost all the cabinet door fronts (not crown molding) turned yellow. Because the crown molding and one or two doors did not yellow it stood out. When contacted Wellborn (because still under warranty) person was rude and wanted me to send a yellowed door and non yellowed door to Alabama at my expense and would have them for 3 to 4 months to do testing and if found problem would send out new door fronts that I would have to have installed and hardware installed at my expense. Asked if could speak to someone else because did not feel fair and said nobody else she was it. Very poor customer service. Would never use or recommend their products.

I have the wellborn painted cabinets in my master bath. A year after installation, the paint started pealing on all the drawers and cabinets. I contacted the company and they said it was because I had gotten water on them>>>>>Huh, how would they know, do they live with me? and aren't bathroom cabinets always exposed to humidity and water? This company gave no customer satisfaction and I do not recommend these cheap, expensive for what you get, cabinets!

We paid for what used to be good cabinets and now after 2 years they are falling apart. This company boasts of all wood product. Particle board in the sides.

I ordered about $15,000 worth of Wellborn cabinets for a kitchen remodel. The cabinets were of resonable quality, but their corner lazy susan cabinet is a cheap piece of junk. Wellborn should be ashamed of itself for producing and selling such a poorly-made product. My unit arrived damaged, and I wanted to replace it with a regular base corner cabinet. I was tole by the dealer that they wouldn't credit the damaged cabinet against a replacement, because the are afraid that their customers would purposely damage an item to return it. I was insulted. I guess that shows what Wellborn thinks of its customers. The dealer built me a replacement cabinet, and Wellborne wouldn't overnight paint because their policy doesn't permit that. It's nice to have policies that ignor the customers'needs. I would never purchase nor would I recommend Wellborn to anyone. Steer clear of this company!

Review:
Thermafoil began failing in 4 yrs. Now at 9 yrs. most doors are peeling. Know warranty was only for a yr. but fact is, the product is defective. All doors have to be replaced at a cost I cannot afford and should not have to afford. Wellborn should stand behind a defective product.
