Be very careful with Hampton Bay. Most products do not have replacement parts so if you need a replacement part, you have to replace the entire unit/fixture/cabinet/etc.

Piss poor layout, excessive damage. Junk once installed months later. Drawer slides are trash. They look nice but that is all. Spent 6 grand, will likely spend another grand fixing the drawer slides.

"All the cabinets"
Most of the cabinets I had delivered we either the fault of the manufacturer or the delivery co home depot uses. I had to runaround and find extra cupboards because some delivered were broke or had glue on the paint. Home depot did give me one cupboard and discounted the pantry cupboard because of paint damager, I would not reccomend getting Hampton bay cabinets

"Kitchen Cabinets"
Every cabinet I purchased had a defect, out of 14 cabinets the defects were so back i had to exchange them and one of the cabinets I exchanged was in worse condition then the original one I returned. Poor quality workmanship. I would have returned everything if my installer had not already installed some of the cabinets. Worse product I ever purchased. Would not recommend to anyone.

"New Hampton bay cabinets for my daughters house"
I'm a professional painter for 40 years and I was very fussy on picking out cabinets. After receiving the new Hampton bay cabinetry for her house everything went pretty good. I was very happy with the construction on the cabinetry. The only thing I had to do was varnish the door fronts again cause I thought they were a little dry. But on a hole I thought the cabinets were very good for being contractor grade. I would definitely recommend buying them to somebody that’s interested in doing a remodel of their kitchen cabinets.

"Worst Cabinets"
These are horribly assembled. They are scuffed, scratched, dented and the paint looks horrible. Hampton Bay used to be a good brand but they absolutely junk now. And Home Depot doesn't want to deal with it as they don't carry them in store yet it is their brand. It is NOT a custom size and they want us to return it on our own and reorder. It already took 3 months to get the first cabinets and now it won't be here for another 3-4 months.

"Replacement parts"
Unable to find a replacement part that fits the cabinet. I have been looking for 2 weeks to find a simple rear mounting socket for a U 140108 DWR. sockets for the drawers cracked and broke and have been unable to use the cabinet. There is no replacement socket and in order to fix the cabinet I have to spend $40 - $65 and in some cases as much as $126.00 in replacement rails May as well replace the whole cabinet.

"Poor Quality and Customer Service"
We recently purchased Hampton Bay cabinets for our kitchen remodel through Home Depot. Home Depot was extremely helpful & pleasant to work with, however, Hampton Bay is sorely lacking in customer service and quality control. In the 1st shipment the whole inside of a pantry cabinet was severely damaged. In our 2nd shipment, a base cabinet & island end panel was damaged & had to be returned. Meanwhile we installed the cabinets that we had but 3 of them had cracks on the back panel. The replacement cabinet is in however Hampton Bay won't ship it until the end panel comes in. Totally unacceptable especially since this is all on them with the damage. Would not recommend this company to my worst enemy!

These are very poor quality cabinets. The laminate began peeling in less than 6 months. Would not repurchase these.

"Home Depot Hampton Bay Cabinets should not be sold."
Home Depot has dropped the ball on their Hampton Bay Cabinets and totally given up on quality control. The box is roughly 1/4 in thick particle board with a thin layer of finish, the doors appear to be press board and everything appears to be held together with staples. We purchased 12 cabinets in order to end up with 5, of those 5, one had to be rebuild, another had a split frame and none of the upper cabinets were the same height. We will NOT purchase another Hampton Bay Product. On a budget, purchase the Ikea cabinet and look for doors. The cabinet frames are 3/4" thick and will last. We seriously are afraid to put the top on due to safety issues and we just used them in our Rec room.

"Horrible!!"
These cabinets are one of the most poorly constructed items I've ever purchased. Right out of the box many were damaged and had to be returned and even The Returned items were damaged as well. The drawers do not open properly. Overall they are extremely poorly constructed. I would never recommend these cabinets to anyone and I wish that I had saved up and just bought a higher-quality cabinet. They are not that cheap and for what you get are really not worth it. Do not buy this item!

"Cabinets"
Horrible company! My husband and I have wasted so much time returning broken cabinets and we have been so overwhelmed with our kitchen remodeling and then feel so defeated when we open cabinet after cabinet that is broken and then have to wait another week or so just to get a new one! Never will be from them again! Let's hope they last!

"Cheap, poorly packaged"
I have three total units. All of them have cracks. I've returned two which were completely unusable. I will be reinforcing and patching up three brand new cabinets because I just can't stand returning them any more. Open and check it at the store whenever possible. The larger units are frequently damaged. I’m worried about long-term durability. I made a big mistake choosing these.

"Total reno of two homes"
We completely remodeled our home approximately 6 years ago using the Hampton style cabinets and decorative end pieces. We had an issue with one of the upper cabinets being damaged during shipping but it was in stock at our local Home Depot so we were able to exchange it. Four years later we added a beverage station and ordered several more with the end panels and again, beautiful with no problems. Early 2020 we completely remodeled a second home in another state using the Shaker style and again, they are beautiful. All totally look very high end and the complements have been endless. I feel so bad for the people that have had bad experiences!

"Poor quality, no quality control"
Hampton Bay as a company and the kitchen cabinets that they manufacture are both quite terrible. I received so many damaged and in fact destroyed cabinets from them. The cycle of returns has been exhausting. They just can not ship an undamaged cabinet or component. Even simple things like dishwasher end panels, toe kick panels and trim have arrived damaged, unstained, poorly stained, with knife marks (from a box opener presumably). Dont buy this brand. There are so many other choices.

"24x24x84 pantry cabinets"
One door came crack. Receive replacement. Was not close to lining up and out of 8 doors, I had to oblong 7 hinge holes, 2 each, that mounts to the cabinets to have enough adjustment up and down. Now is closer to being correct. I would think at for over $500 each, I would not have to do this in the world of computerized lay out and cutting. Thankfully these cabinets are in a pantry room and not in a kitchen or you would be getting them back. I bought a pantry cabinet from you 12 years ago at about $150 less and had to do very little adjustment. I guess you pay this much more for soft close hinges. Your quality is going in the wrong direction!

"Had I known, I would never have bothered"
We had actually ordered cabinets for two units - ours and our tenants. We were originally told it would be 6 to 8 weeks and we were ok with that. That extended out to 10 weeks when the cabinets for our unit came in. The install went smooth until we realized one of the base cabinets was cracked and one of the doors needed to be replaced. Also, as someone mentioned in another review - 2 of the upper cabinet doors don't align. So right now we just got in the replacements and are awaiting it's installation. Not happy The other unit though, that was a horror show - after 14 weeks we finally cancelled the order because they said it was still in production - 14 weeks. Choose a different company. Damaged pieces, poor quality. Really not happy.

"Don't waste your time."
Ordered these cabinets for my kitchen. That was a bad mistake. Out of fifteen cabinets nine needed replaced. The drawers are uneven and the doors are not even the same level. Some were chipped and scratched. The self closures do not work like they should. They are so cheap that the rubber stops pull the finish off. I returned the damaged ones only to receive more damaged cabinets. It took three weeks to receive replacement ones. Then low and behold they were scratched and chipped. I was so fed up with them I decided to install some anyway, than find out that some were actually taller the others. I Am still fighting with Home Depot to resolve the issue. Been seven weeks and I still don't have a kitchen. These are the worst cabinets that money can buy. Save your money.

"Cheap, poor customer service"
We will never purchase from Hampton bay again. Quality sucks, we have had two broken cabinets and another with holes throughout the doors and we haven't even received them all! We received the wrong wall bridge style cabinet and asked Hampton bay to just send us the doors to replace, they refused. Said we needed to order whole new cabinet, only issue is we can't order it online now and it's not sold in stores! We only ordered cabinets three months ago, how can it no longer be sold?! So disappointed.
